I am an aviation enthusiast and a Flight Instructor located in Silicon Valley. I have been flying for 15 years, and teaching for seven. My students and clients understand the difference between learning to fly and becoming a pilot. Learning to fly is about math, mechanics and regulations. Learning to be a pilot covers that stuff, but also includes judgment, safety, wisdom and history. My practice is built on training and refining pilots and aviators.
My philosophy is "back to basics". We'll learn that all we need to fly are wings and altitude. Everything else is a nice-to-have. Aviation training that I provide:
